Annual Carbon Footprint Audit

As a business, we take our environmental responsibilities seriously. Annually, we conduct a comprehensive audit of our carbon footprint. Our calculations follow the internationally recognised ISO 14064 and the GHG Emissions Protocol Accounting Standard. These methods are considered the gold standard for carbon footprint calculation worldwide.

Supporting the Carbon Neutral Britain Woodland Fund

Through our carbon footprint assessment, we have chosen to support the Carbon Neutral Britain Woodland Fund. This fund focuses on reforestation and woodland management projects with a strong emphasis on promoting local wildlife, ecology, and biodiversity. By supporting this initiative, we actively contribute to offsetting our carbon emissions while making a positive impact on the environment.

Paperless Operations: We are committed to reducing paper waste. All presentations and documents are digital, and we only print when absolutely necessary. Any printing we do undertake is done on recycled paper, and we prioritize recycling paper waste.

Transportation: We encourage our team to utilise public transport for every journey whenever possible. By reducing individual vehicle use, we aim to minimize our carbon footprint associated with transportation.

Energy Efficiency: At Sayer Haworth, we promote energy-saving initiatives both at our office and in our team’s homes. We actively encourage the use of energy-efficient practices to minimise energy consumption and reduce our impact on the environment.
